Hues Of Yellow...

Hues of yellow gave a splash of happiness to the scenery, the buzzing of busy bees breaking the silence.

The first blooms of a golden grevillea made quite an impact. Grevillea plants have the most fascinating flowers and these are a stunning example.

Next is the native red cottonwood hibiscus. These trees have heart shaped leaves, which when young are a rich ruby red with sunny yellow flowers.

And lastly, red capped mallie gum, the red caps contain the striking yellow flowers until they finally burst free. The flowers have a yellow to yellowish green colouring. The flowers then turn to bell shaped fruit which the parrots will come to feast on..
