Cool summers mornings are really appreciated, as are cooler summer days.
The weather at the moment is rather delightful, the intense heat has backed off, hopefully for a bit longer too.
In the raised garden I have a lot of seedlings popping up, having applied a wetting agent and fertiliser to the whole garden, this has assisted seeds to germinate. Not sure how the delicate little ones will cope when the days become hotter. There are a few more blooms also around the garden, as well as many feathered visitors this morning. The watermelon and lettuce are thriving, looking forward to a good harvest to share with family and friends.
I have added a beautiful glass birdbath down in the flower meadow, which is currently lacking in flowers, come autumn though this will change....
