A visit to Bells Rapids is always on the agenda at the end of summer. This year there is hardly any water left in the river at all. Having to make do with my phone as I forgot to charge the camera battery I didn't take as many photos as I normally would. It still amazes me come winter this will begin to resemble a raging river again......

At present the mostly dry riverbed looks rugged.
It really is a dangerous river when full.
