Adrift In A

Adrift in a sea of purple and getting nowhere fast.

Noticing a glimpse of blue as I rounded a bend I pulled over to investigate. To my surprise I discovered a dilapidated boat surrounded by a mass of flowers. 

I don't come this way very often and I hadn't noticed the boat moored in the meadow before. I found the vista so incredibly appealing and by shifting my position a little I was gifted a slightly different perspective of the scene. An artful discovery that really did inspire a sense of serenity.....
