A canopy of grey clouds was a delightful sight on Monday, sadly though no rain was contained within them. Venturing out into the local bushland to see how it was fairing after this dreadful dry hot weather.
Plenty of birds were seen as they flirted amongst the foliage, mates are being sought as the breeding seasons begin.as the seasons shift.
There was more insect activity here too, the flowers of some plants actually looking succulent and providing much needed sustenance for many species. There were also quite a few tiny saplings surging forth from the earth and even on the rocky gravel mounds.
Our Earth Mother is resilient, and I admire her for her strength, she does not give up easily.
With a nippy wind dancing around my ankles, I felt invigorated as I ambled along.
Clouds have a nurturing effect on me, I find nothing more boring than an endless blue sky...
