Early morning visitors greeted me as I went to let the chickens out this morning. Baby pink and grey galahs are really cute as well as incredibly entertaining as they waddle along exploring the world. Like the Australian magpies these chicks really make sure that their parents know when they are hungry. Their often non stop squawking can become so deafening when there a a few babies in the flock.
Given that today was such a day I threw out a bit of seed to help the parents out which in turn brought peacefulness back to the garden.....
