Mud Wasps...

Mud wasps are gorgeous orange and black solitary wasps who build mud nests for their larvae.
They are docile and rarely bother humans.
I have a couple that nest around the house and garden. They fly in a lazy kind of way around me if I am in their path, never in the least bit bothered by my presence.
I find them incredibly beautiful.
They mainly feed on spiders. These wasps apparently prefer crab spiders, jumping spiders and orb weavers...
