My newest garden resident is a male magpie who's taken to dwelling between the front and back garden. It's quite unusual for a magpie to be on its own as they normally live in groups so I am a little concerned that this little guy is on his own.
He seems to have been attacked on his head, which added to my concern. He's becoming quite friendly, and often perches on the back of chairs under the patio. Hopefully in time he will find his place in his group. Until then I will enjoy his daily visits...
