I love seeing the tiny little legs of the leaf curling spider dangling out of her comfy leaf home.
This one who was dwelling in the front garden has since disappeared, or perhaps relocated the web elsewhere?
Curling the leaf is an ingenious way of hiding from predators, whilst also waiting for dinner to arrive.
The leaf also provides shelter from the weather.
They are day active orb weavers, yet I have never seen one yet out of their shelter...
