A week's worth of wanderings at Lake Leschenultia have done wonders for my soul. Mostly I haven't taken my camera, I simply tunned into my surroundings as I walked.
Although there's only a couple of photos of a kangaroo, in actual fact I have seen so many kangaroos. Because I walk gently I tend to get pretty close to them before they hop off. Some are huge bucks, the one photographed is a smaller doe. I will always stop and make eye contact, communicating I am no threat. Sometimes they hop off, other times they watch me continue past.
I have also begun going to the lake of an evening. Which is a beautiful time to be in nature.
There's also been lots of wonderful cloud formations and other fascinating scenes which have captivated me.
Next month I will be taking another break from work, this time two weeks, where again I will drive little, turn my phone off and walk a lot...

Gemel there are so many things you took pictures of - all fascinating - but so much to remember. Very cool.
Beautiful series. ❤️
