A pair of singing honey eaters were happily foraging for crumbs at a cafe. Normally these small birds would feed on nectar, fruits, berries, grubs and small insects. Unfortunately, unhealthy human food has become an easy meal for native wildlife.
The local Noongar name for singing honey eaters is Dooroom dooroom. These birds have a beautiful melodic song, which is always a pleasure to hear...
