Golden light bathing the garden as the afternoon moved slowly towards evening. The air super chilly as I wandered around enjoying my private little oasis. A few birds were hanging about waiting for any treats the chickens might be getting. The chickens on the other hand were busy foraging for insects or taking some time to preen themselves. Aslan was already in the night box; in his old age he retires quite early each afternoon.
Many plants are already in bloom with all the rest budding up. Winter is so beautiful here, everything becomes so lush and green, so leafy and luxuriant...
