A few dingoes are also kept at Kaarakin. Learning more about these magnificent creatures was really interesting. They are also extremely stunning, their facial markings quite wolf like.
They have a triple layer coat, there are three main colours to their coats: light ginger to tan, black and tan or creamy white.
They are very fussy about what they eat, their preference is the lean meat of kangaroo, which is their natural diet, they will however tolerate beef.
Viewing them from a walkway above their enclosure gives a great view to admire these beautiful creatures...
