A Gift.....

 A gift to precious for words.

Taking a carton of eggs to two friends only to have the egg carton filled with a variety of vegetable seeds was one of the most giving gifts I had ever received.

Now as well as sharing the chickens eggs with those I love I will now have an abundance of vegetables to gift as well.

Those of us who live a simple life are not tempted by the traps of materialism, for us gentle souls who like to get our hands in the earth and nurture new life we will always be the most centred and conscious of the human race, we have not lost our connection to the earth and we see the value in all life forms seeing that none is more valued than another.

Looking forward to the weekend when I can prepare a new vegetable bed where these seeds can be planted and then wait for each seed to show it's self as they search for the sun.

When you ponder the strength and determination of a single seed as it begins to grow, pushing up through the earth to begin it's life you really do have the ability to witness the absolute miracle of life.....
