Tiny Nova......

 Tiny Nova is the newest addition to my chicken family.

With the recent passing of little Opal her sister Pearl was being ostracized from the flock as she was so much smaller.

Not liking to see anyone living in isolation I visited the local produce shop where they keep an array of poultry birds for sale and came across this delightful little girl.

  She is a real character and has already woven her way into my heart.

Not particularly happy with being put to bed at night she will run up my arm and sit on my shoulder which is absolutely hilarious, only when Aslan has gone into the night box will she settle, nestling in under his body as he gets comfortable for the night.

Nova and Pearl have already bonded and the two keep together chirping away to each other as the explore the garden each day.

She is only three months old so is not old enough to lay as yet and is still busy exploring her new forever home......
