Seeing the gift of yesterdays fiasco I emerged today feeling refreshed and focused on what direction I wish to venture in.
No is a word that I am beginning to use with a familiar frequency, thus paving the way to a new fresh way of life.
No longer do I feel compelled to stay stagnated in old behavioural patterns or thought processes, nor do I feel compelled to humour others by subjecting myself to situations that suppress my own light.
Instead I have learnt to say NO!
No is a confronting word, it is a word no one particularly likes to hear.
No means that we have lost control, we are out of favour, we have to think again.
Having reacquainted myself with the liberating gesture of vocalising a NO has left me feeling free, alive, and in control.
No longer will I endure any behaviour or person that compromises my principals, for I now know that to do so is to devalue myself, and I have far too much respect for myself for that to become my reality.
Instead I return to the simplicity of nature, quiet moments spent with the silence of wonder, for there it is I attain my direction......

I totally agree with you.
What reading do you suggest for me. I want to embark on a new journey in my life. I feel stagnant and know I will be miserable if I "stay" like this. Things and people that once stimulated me are dragging me down now. Do you have a book or books you can suggest to help guide me?
thank you :)
Beautiful ideas. Wonderful thoughts. Enchanting Gemel.
