I've Decided.....

I've decided that it is better to be alone.

After having to put up with unwanted advances and rude comments all night I have come home early to the loving company of my cats.

I know that there are men out there SOMEWHERE that know how to respect another person and keep their hands to themselves until it is clear that I share their enthusiasm for getting personal. What I experience tonight has come close to putting me off men forever, it took a lot for me to go once again to a party alone, knowing only two people to start off with was stressful enough, but having to put up with rude and suggestive comments from people I just met really was just too much to contend with, so I left.

I know that the Universe will direct me to another when the time is right, until then I am going to stay home and avoid any situation that involves well meaning friends wishing to set me up with people they know.....
