This caterpillar caught my attention yesterday as I was parking my car under the canopy of a huge Morten Bay fig tree.
Of course it was the one day I forgot my camera, so I had to stretch out and hope my phone camera would capture the moment.
The caterpillar was walking in circles, and seeing there were other cocoons in the curve of the bark, I wondered if the caterpillar was looking for a spot for it's own chrysalis, beginning it's final journey into a butterfly...
