They say, a change is as good as a holiday.
So, with that in mind a spontaneous makeover in my bedroom happened yesterday.
It's been a somewhat intense year, hence I am ushering in calm and peaceful for 2026.
A new comforter set and two sparkly pink sequinned throw cushions were discovered accidentally and found themselves into my car extremely swiftly.
Charlie Cricket took about three seconds to jump up onto the freshly made bed to give it his paws of approval.
I also purchased two battery operated glass lanterns, mainly because I have a strong dislike for bright lights, but we've also had two power outages this week already! And summer storms have only just begun, so best be prepared.
I feel the fabric on this new bedding really works to bring out the magical quantities of the two paintings I have in my bedroom from my talented artist friend.
Because, bedrooms should be soft spaces that are comfortable and invite one to relax, soft tones are my preference.
The owl cushion I've had for several years, it seems to have found it's forever place now snuggled between the two sparkling cushions...
