Over The Years...

Over the years I have lived here I have occasionally passed this café and a plant shop called Minty Green. Last week I decided it was time to call in as both looked inviting from the road. 

The café I shall not visit again, as when I asked if they had any vegetarian options, the reply was disturbing.

They offered to take meat and cheese out of anything on display! 

Hmm, no thank you!!

Minty Green on the other hand is a fantastic little shop filled with so many beautiful indoor plants and trinkets of all descriptions.

I did several laps around the shop as it was warm and inviting, there was even a armchair in one corner that invited one to linger.

Unfortunately, with the kitty kids I can't have indoor plants as most are toxic to cats, and because of the summer heat, keeping plants alive under the patio hasn't been successful in the past.

This little shop was an inspiration though and did have me pondering getting a garden going under the patio once again...
