Redcliffe on the Murray is a country restaurant and bar located in Pinjarra on the Murray River. It was a leisurely 118 kilometre drive hugging the darling range most of the way.
I enjoyed exploring the countryside and taking a walk over the small suspension bridge.
There were a lot of spoonbills relaxing in the trees so I took a walk to try and get closer, as taking photos on the suspension bridge was somewhat of a challenge.
The local birds seem to know that the food is good, and they take perch on the back of the chairs at occupied tables. Patrons are encouraged not to feed them, although I did notice a man sneaking them some tidbits.
After an exceedingly relaxing day I set off back home, once again taking the scenic route...
