Next I Decided...

Next I decided to head back the way I had come and check out the Bindoon Art and Craft Shop. 

Trouble was it was closed, despite being told by the lady in the Tourist Information Centre it was always open on a Wednesday.

 

Well I guess that's small towns for you? Or perhaps they are living up to WA's (Western Australia's) nick name?

Wait awhile!

I had a look at what art I could find outside. And a couple of the old  buildings that are still standing from where the town was once located. Before it was relocated further along the Great Northern Highway, to its present position. 

Not really old by European standards, I know, but it is old for Australia, as they tend to bulldoze most older buildings.

The Art Centre seems to have a fondness of mosaics and the mural on the water tank was rather good. 

I wasn't sure what I thought about the sculpture of the first nation man though, I didn't linger long near that...
