Today's Mission...

Today's mission was dismantling the chickens old night box to make way for a new nightbox.

I am probably going to have to take part of the shed down. As this one is much larger than the one the girls used to have. 

The old one was elevated on an old TV cabinet. 

This one is much higher. 

I used the wire sides of the old one to go underneath, as that stops predators and mice getting in.

 I then placed dirt over the wire so the girls won't hurt their feet.

So far they have had a look and walked away.

Tonight will be the big test, will they go up the ramp and into their fresh new beds...
