Today I randomly decided to walk across to the monthly Chidlow markets. Although a relatively short walk from my little haven, I haven't been here for years. I don't really know what prompted me to venture out. But if I've learnt one thing, it's that when spontaneity comes calling, one should always heed the whisper, as often it means change is afoot.
It was a clear and brisk morning, and the market was smaller than when I last visited. I still enjoyed walking around and seeing what was on offer. And came away with a couple of bargains.
Afterwards, as I headed home I stopped to take photos of a fabulous mushroom I'd spotted growing during the week and took a little amble through the trees...

Lovely photos from your walk.
Oh my gosh, that is a fabulous mushroom. I'm impressed by all the vegetables on display in that one photo. Beautiful blue sky too.
