Back to the little town of Bindoon today for a few hours. My first stop was going into the Tourist Information Centre to find out what there was to see and do.
Bindoon and the neighbouring town of Chittering were always known for their orchards of citrus.
Now though, it's known for an adventurous bike park and a bakery. Not really my cup of tea.
Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any trails around the lake, so for today I settled for having a mooch around the little town.
The name Bindoon is of first nation origin, meaning; place where yams grow.
The Tourist Information Centre was tiny, yet quirky.
There is a small selection of local products on sale as well. I was rather impressed with their imagination in regards to the lights.
Reminded me of the native wattle flowers...
