Secondhand bookshops are my favourite shops. Sadly here in Perth there's hardly any left. The local franchise of bookshops are far from stimulating, which is why I stick to hunting through the preloved books.
Reading a book is all about the experience. The smell of the paper as well as the feel of if between your fingers.
Which is why I absolutely refuse to read a book on a device. Having spent a couple of hours on Saturday browsing I left of course with several books to keep me going until my next visit...
