Another beautiful grey day. A perfect day for walking. Thankfully steady showers also joined me on my meander. The lake will need quite a few downpours before it's full again. Hopefully the drenching rains will swiftly arrive. An acacia tree in bloom was the only colour I saw, apart from one lone plant flowering. I was lucky enough to see a family of kangaroos nibbling on the fresh succulent shoots near the track I was on. They perhaps didn't take kindly to my vibrant pink raincoat and took of hopping, disappearing almost instantly when they hit the bush. They are such amazing animals. Encountering them in the wild is always special....
