A little bit of rain found its way into the garden yesterday morning, and what a delight it was waking to the sound of the rhymical pitter patter upon the roof. It was far from the drenching showers we so desperately need; however, it was indeed wonderful.
Going out and being greeted by the ducks that come to visit each day, as well as seeing birds darting through the rain joyfully chirping as the water showered them brought sunshine to my heart. The chickens are not that fond of water, but they do enjoy foraging for titbits after rain.
Walking around in the fine misty rain was a very therapeutic way to begin my day...
