Taking advantage of the abnormally warm autumn weather I dropped in to visit my favourite people enjoying their abundant garden and the sunshine.
Lilly pilly trees (also known as bush cherry) are full of fruit and we were discussing the various ways the fruit could be used after harvest.
The orange tree is also fruiting, we are hoping that we actually get to eat some this year as last year the fruit was completely eaten by native marsupials leaving none for us to enjoy.
The front garden is now attracting a few new species of birds with the newly planted camellias beckoning them in which will be hedged once they thicken out a bit.
The male sheoaks which overlook the property are covered with pollen waiting for the right moment when they will release the spores into the wind which I have witnessed once before, it is really amazing to watch this occur.

A beautiful day enjoyed with happy dogs and nurturing sunshine what more could one ask for.....

That Backyard Is Clearly Full Of Life - Pure Righteousness

Thank you The Padre, it has taken the owners a few years of trial and error to get it right, it is really a peaceful and life filled little space.
