Coal Dam Park......

Coal Dam Park is a small park which if you don't know it is there you can drive past without a second glance.
On an abnormally hot autumn day once again I noticed the lack of autumnal flowers that by this time of year should be vibrantly enhancing the bushland surrounding it.
Noticing also the missing honey eaters and other smaller birds that normally flit in and out of the trees feasting on the flowers creating a flourish of life and activity.
No rain is expected any time soon here and this is cause for concern for all who depend on the seasonal flowers to ensure their survival.
Although I enjoyed a lovely walk I also was saddened by the drastic changes the prolonged warm weather is creating......
