The Bassendean Gallery was something I heard about yesterday morning, it sounded so interesting that I went to have a look for myself.
This area was being targeted with graffiti and the shire of Bassendean was getting fed up of having to paint over the graffiti on a regular basis. So they decided on a different approach to combat vandalism.

I know that this kind of art isn't for everyone, but I have to say that I could appreciate the talent displayed here. There are 50 pieces in total and there are several which really stood out.
The pathway leads down to Derbal Yerrigan/Swan River where a different kind of canvas presented itself to be admired...
