Yesterday I...

Yesterday I took a little meander to go to the Chidlow Community Garden Open Day. Since my last visit the small garden had been given a bit of a update, which had been long overdue. A friend of mine had been building steps and little planter boxes in from of the railway carriages used for storage. They have also added defining paths and a funky scarecrow. There was also a sign proudly boasting that a new propagation shed is in the pipeline too. 

There was also a small market set up on the pathway leading to the garden, as it was still early there wasn't much foot traffic, but I am certain as the day went on it would have become much busier. 

Heading home I took a couple of photos of the main street in Chidlow, where the five shops and the Chidlow Tavern are located...
