Wireless Hill Park is a place I had never visited before a couple of weeks ago, although I had noticed the sign to the park when in the area, which has never been very often.
For thousands of years the site of the park was used by first nation people as a lookout, in 1972 it became one of Australia's first radio centres. There's also the art gallery I posted about yesterday.
The park at the very top of the hill is kept in pristine condition. And if hadn't been for a massive storm that sent me scurrying back to my car, I would have explored the many trails that disappear into the bushland. When I walked up onto the lookout platform I got wonderful glimpses of the storm coming in from the Indian Ocean.
So, another visit is pending...
