Way back in July my friends had a joint exhibition at the Inglewood Art Hub, while there the artist in residence (unfortunately I've forgotten her name) was making paper and invited me to watch her go through the process.
She used a combination of plant materials and shredded paper that is left to soak for a considerable time.
The photos show the process she goes through, so I won't give a step by step commentary.
I was actually really surprised that the paper is left to dry on the window.
I did notice that once dry, the paper has a very delicate texture, so it needed to be handled with care...
