Mundaring Weir is always a pleasant place to have a walk, there's plenty of pathways around the Weir itself, as well as many more heading into the bushland.
The gardens planted near the main carpark are traditional European gardens, with a rose garden with plants that were planted in the 1930's. Many were flowering out of season, with others looking very forlorn.
There's plenty of grassed areas to enjoy a picnic, or if you are like me, sit down and immerse yourself with the sights and sounds around you...
