Delightful moments spent nature bathing this morning. My doctor prescribed that I do forest bathing, which is a Japanese term that emerged in the 1980's. Shinrin yoku, forest bathing or taking in the forest atmosphere to balance the body. I have swapped the term to nature bathing.
Not the sort of medicine most GP's would prescribe, which is why I go to him. Seeing as my garden is forest like, albeit on a smaller scale I don't have to go far to absorb nature. Having been told to stop walking or exercising for the foreseeable future, meandering around my garden is going to have to make do for the time being.
So much was happening in the mini flower meadow, bees were everywhere, I find it very relaxing watching them buzzing about. The colours are just fantastic in there as well.
A California poppy has begun to grow through the wicker chair, I shall let it do it's thing, there are plenty of other places to sit.
Elsewhere in the garden there is quite a lot happening, there are so many birds filling the garden with beautiful melodies. It's intoxicating.
Feeling revived and inspired...
