A family of carnabys enjoying a nourishing breakfast of callistemon flowers. The pathway was covered with the discarded flowers. Some don't like the larger parrots and galahs coming in and feeding in their gardens, because of the pruning they give the plants they feed on.
I actually think that it's a natural process, which seems to keep my bottlebrush trees very healthy. It might be messy, but nature is a little unpredictable in her perfection...
