A quiet stroll around Central Park in Aveley was a relaxing experience, the large lake being the highlight of the park, unlike a lot of parks in this area the lack of sculptures was a little disappointing. In the neighbouring suburb of Ellenbrook art is used extensively in the parks adding culture and elegance to the public gardens.
Life on the lake was limited to a handful of birds, I did manage to spend time observing the few residents inhabiting the lake through these dry summer months.
A lot of the gardens were dying, this was rather shocking to see, a good watering was clearly needed, hopefully the shire will sort this out before more plants and trees wither completely...
