The elusive and seldom still red-capped parrots feasting on a grevillea bush in the back garden. Seeing a colourful movement in the bush from inside the cottage I wasted no time in grabbing my camera and trusting that today I would finally get a good glimpse of the pair. Given their bright plumage they camouflage rather well. It is their constant movement and their shyness that hampers any clear photos. So I stayed hidden in the cottage and finally managed the clearest photos I have ever achieved......
