Walking into the eerie vibe of a burnt forest is not something that I had done before.
Stretching above was a vista of beings clinging to life after the devastation of a fire.
Humans seem only to be horrified at the deaths or maiming of other humans when a fire tears through a forest.
They are the very last I think about.
My first thoughts are always of the forest beings.
Kangaroos
Possums
Reptiles
Insects
Plants
Birds
Trees
Millions die each time a fire is burning out of control and rarely the humans think about them.
Walking through here was uncomfortable and so extremely quiet that being there felt wrong.
It was a graveyard
Full of loss
Full of grief
The destruction of a "controlled" burn the humans instigated...............
