Little Miss Nala......

Little Miss Nala decided that the pair of retro flares I brought home were just too good to resist.
Bringing in new smells from the charity shop I found them in she pulled them off the chair and ran off with them to sniff and roll around on.
It was a mission getting them off her as every time I approached she would scamper off dragging them in her mouth........

What A Find....

What a find!
I stumbled across these magnificent oyster shells in a secondhand shop the other day.
Feeling the need to find them a serene place to rest in my garden I am thinking that I shall create a wishing pond with them, keeping them in water to protect them from loosing their colour in the harsh Australian sunlight.
Such a shame that they ended up discarded on a dusty shelf, but happy that they found their way to me.
Their beauty will be acknowledged every day as they bring their luminescent energy into my little realm.......

Missing My....

Missing my camera as I was out and about as it has broken and I need to decide on a new one so have to make do with my phone until I replace it.
Depth of the photos is not the same but still had to share these proteas I stumbled across.
Such magnificent flowers indeed..........

Having A Day....

Having a day of gratitude for the glorious garden I have.
Filled with life and birdsong and chattering of the parrots and the ever gentle energy of my chicken family as they potter about the garden.
Enjoying sharing a moment with Cheeky Chook who came to sit next to me on the chair while I am sure she was wondering where the blueberry treats were.
Realising how much the house has come to life in the corner where I have begun painting and knowing I have a rather big task ahead of me to finish it, but knowing there is no rush.
Of sitting and just being very thankful of my simple natural life.
Of loosing my self as I gazed up towards the clouds as they drift overhead and take me on a meditation of restfulness and peace.
Life is a dance of joyous union with nature, one so beautiful it always takes my breath away.........

The beautiful......

The beautiful Charlie Cricket.......

Took A Little........

Took a little treat to one of my favorite fluffy people.
It was carried around and he seemed so proud of his healthy dogie treat.
Took him ages to eat it but when he did I think I got a smile....

Retreating From...

Retreating from the heat of the day I moved one of the garden chairs changing my normal view of  my miniature park.
Sitting there surrounded by all I love I realised how rich I am.

True wealth has nothing to do with money.
Wealth to me is about what I have created here on a shoestring budget and a lot of love and inspiration.

Richness of the heart and the soul leaves the adoration of money far behind, for money is a false god so many give their lives to, seeking an illusion of grandeur with the things and power it gives them.

Take away the money and what are any of us left with?
Nature.......

A Public Parklet........

A public parklet, what a really grand idea.

Found this in Kalamunda a beautiful little place up in the Perth foothills.

They should have thought about the placement of the pole though placing it elsewhere.

Enjoyed an abnormally hot August afternoon sipping a turmeric latte and watching the swallows chattering on the pole above.......

Happiness........

That Moment.....

That moment when I am ready to leave work and a little someone doesn't want me to go.

Such a sad little chap, he really wanted to go for a drive, and strangely enough he is not known for trusting people, but here he was in my car without a second thought about his human.......

Happiness Is....

Happiness is simply knowing that these three precious kitties are living the life of love........
