Yesterday morning I finally discovered this weeks laying spot as the girls had become very inventive and secretive about their egg laying recently.
Having spotted Maple through the lounge room window I then realised that she was nesting on a clutch of eggs.
As Maple snuggled upon the eggs she fluffed herself out and also began picking up twigs and leaves with her beak and placing them around her.
Perhaps there are going to be babies appearing soon.
As always the Aslan was close by both of them camouflaged well in the garden.
Aslan continued to watch over Maple constantly talking to her as she purred away on top of her eggs.......
