I'm A Happy Girl..................

I'm a happy girl.

Why you might well ask!

Because autumn is FINALLY here.

I am a winter girl, I adore nothing more than to get dressed up in my warmer clothes, going for a walk and feeling the crisp breeze swirling through my hair, sensing the sent of the fall promising the return of the colder weather.

As I woke this morning to the sound of rain upon the bedroom window, natures music that I had missed for so long as we endured the dry hot summer months, I smiled from ear to ear.

The sky has more character when there are clouds hovering overhead, their contrast adding personality to the endless blue hues of summer that become monotonous after awhile. I feel more alive when winter comes, getting caught in the rain is one of my most favourite things to do, walking alone along the beach on a blustery winters day is my idea of heaven.

I know a lot of people say that they hate the dull, grey cloudy skies, they crave the Sun to return it relentless summer heat, not me though.

I know that the Sun is always there, shining and bestowing its radiant warmth no matter how many clouds may hamper its rays to penetrate their billowy shield. I am content to know that as the rains and chilly winds return the Sun is still there high above emitting its brilliance even harder when dim days visit us once again........
