Taking An Elderly Pup...

Taking an elderly pup to Riverside Gardens Dog Park was a joyful experience, seeing the wind in his fur as we strolled along was heartwarming.
Being 17 walking is a bit much, so he now rides in style.

Riverside Gardens is located in Bayswater and is a fantastic place for dogs. There's plenty of open space for playing and they can also enjoy a swim in the Swan River. There's an agility course and fenced areas, for those pups that might take off in the wide open spaces.
There are splendid views across the Swan River and the vast grassy area brings a relaxed vibe.
The toilet block has been artfully decorated with murals featuring many of the parks gorgeous visitors.

Many of the dogs we encountered were very confused at seeing Rufus in his pram, most could sense he's not a well boy and sniffed from a distance.
The most tender encounter was at the end of our walk, a dingo cross kelpie came over and spent time trying to engage with Rufus. Rufus remained standoffish. At his age I think he's more than entitled to do so...

Rufus is such a cute little fellow. 17 is very old for a dog. Riding in the pram is perfect.
