I Was Lucky...

I was lucky to catch Wesley Jackson's exhibition Kaaditj two days before it closed.

 I always enjoy seeing indigenous artists who step away from the dot paintings most tourists expect.

This was Wesley's first solo exhibition, promoting him as an emerging artist. The exhibition was a selection of multi media works looking back through the past through his own perspective of culture.

I really enjoyed this exhibition, and I will keep an eye out for future exhibitions of Wesley's work...
