A final stroll around the garden this afternoon to see if the bobtail could still be seen. It had either disappeared or was so well hidden I couldn't find it.
Plenty of other things to captivate me though. Flowers and a new addition to the fairy garden provided a tranquil and happy atmosphere.
The back garden was busy with a family of new holland honeyeaters keeping a watch on their babies taking short flights and learning to feed. A few apple cores thrown out for the parrots made for a bit of entertainment as they all kept attempting to snatch the prize off each other. A rare appearance of a brown honeyeater who stopped in for a bath and a feed.
A very relaxing and therapeutic afternoon.....
