This Time Of Year...

This time of year I often wake to the clouds hugging the earth.

These mornings always induce a smile.

It's not quite the same as the foggy weather I loved in the UK, where at times the fog was so thick driving was quite perilous, and snow and frost accompanied the misty weather creating striking views.

I find myself wishing it would stay like this, as all is quiet and still.

There's not even the slightest breeze.

Birds are silent.

It's like the world has paused...
