Not Paying Any...

Not paying any attention to the weather forecast I headed to John Forrest National Park to have a look at a new elevated walkway which had just opened.
The forecast said rain all morning, I didn't encounter a single drop on my adventure.

I was disappointed as it wasn't as long as I expected, and you can only go one-way as the opposite entrance is closed off.
The views across the forest is spectacular though.
Nothing but a vista of green.
My favourite sort of view.

Once I retraced my steps I went on exploring the tracks and ended up finding one I had never been down before.

A couple of kangaroos were grazing and rather friendly. One actually hopped over my foot and stopped just next to me.
Love seeing kangaroos, these two were quite sodden after heavy rain overnight.

Being a week day I had the place all to myself. After several hours of meandering along I headed home, just as the rain eventually blew in...

I am really pleased that you enjoyed it Sandy. Some have said that I put too many photos in some of my posts. But the whole point of my blog is to share my love of nature and my daily adventures.

It seems so exotic and adventurous to encounter kangaroos on a walk in the woods.
