Some photos from way back from in April that I seemed to have overlooked from a bushland stroll. I was captivated by moss, bark, budding flowers and puff balls.
Puffballs are a kind of fungus that have a roundish shape. They release cloudy puff like spores when mature or disturbed. They are edible if totally white inside.
Those I came across are inedible.
There's always plenty to see on an amble through the bush...

The colors - especially in the first two are so unique to find in the woods.
Lots of interesting things to see when exploring nature. I watched a series on TV about The Kimberly area in Australia. What a magical place that must be. The scenery was breathtaking.
