A few weeks ago I noticed that one of the honey stalls at local markets had honey for dogs. Grandpup Banjo is struggling a little bit at the moment health wise, so I bought him a jar.
The man running the stall said he created this recipe when his own dog developed cancer. A photo of his dogs is on the front of the labels.
I dropped the honey off and my son decided to give Banjo a taste before putting in his food.
Banjo gave one disgusted sniff and walked off.
So it looks like my son and his wife has a powerful honey to use when they are feeling under the weather.
I also picked up a big jar of honey for myself. Mine is mixed with cinnamon and is delicious in my coffee...

Interesting. I've never heard of honey for dogs before but it is a natural food so why not.
Maybe he could try again.
